While the heat of the successful completion of the installation of the No. 3 unit has not yet dissipated, the builders of Ajebandele have seized the opportunity to focus on the installation of the No. 4 unit. After more than a month of hard work, the No. 4 unit has now successfully completed the installation of the whole unit and officially reached the commissioning conditions, adding another highlight to the steady progress of the project.
Control the installation details and strictly adhere to quality standards. Installation details are the key to ensuring the normal operation of the gas turbine, and any small negligence may lead to serious consequences. During the installation of the No. 4 unit, the project team members had clear division of labor, the installers accurately connected the various components, and reasonably laid out the lubricating oil pipeline, cooling water pipeline, etc. At the same time, after the installation, the completed work was self-checked one by one according to the technical specifications to strictly control the quality.
Upgrade two major systems to improve operating efficiency. In order to further improve the performance of the No. 4 unit, the project team optimized and upgraded the natural gas system and the cooling water system. In terms of the natural gas system, by unifying pipeline specifications and optimizing valve settings, the natural gas supply is stable and efficient, making the gas delivery more "uniform". In the cooling water system, new heat dissipation materials and optimized pipeline layout are used, and the heat dissipation efficiency is significantly improved, ensuring that the gas turbine generator can maintain a good temperature state during operation, creating favorable conditions for the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Not afraid of challenges. At present, the project site Ajebandele is in the rainy season, and weather changes are another major challenge. During the center adjustment of the No. 4 gas turbine, the large temperature difference became a difficult problem for the team. The large temperature difference between day and night will cause the equipment parts to expand and contract differently, thus affecting the accuracy of the center positioning. In order to solve this problem, the project team decided to adopt the strategy of "night shift adjustment". The temperature at night is relatively stable, which greatly reduces the impact of the temperature difference on the equipment. In the end, the technicians successfully overcame this technical difficulty with their strong technical strength and rich installation and commissioning experience, ensuring that the gas turbine center adjustment work meets the technical specifications.
At present, the project is progressing steadily according to the established plan, and will focus on the installation of the No. 5-10 gas turbines in the future. The project team stated that they will continue to maintain a rigorous work attitude and high morale to ensure the smooth progress of the installation and commissioning work and contribute all their efforts to the early commissioning of the project.
